Data We Collect (and Why)

We collect the basic details you give us when you register your company workspace or sign up as a driver. This includes your name, work email address, telephone number, and your business address in the UK. Because we run a car-sharing platform, we also need to verify your driving licence. (By the way, our operations team usually completes this check in 3.2 hours so you can get on the road quickly.) When you use our mobile app, we track your device location only when you are searching for a vehicle or active in a rental. This lets you unlock with your phone. We also record the mileage and routes to generate clean VAT invoices so your company can track every mile in the app. We do not track you when you are not using our vehicles.

How We Use Your Information

Your data is used solely to manage your vehicle bookings, process payments, and keep our fleet of 14 electric cars secure. Every car we run is 99.8% battery, 99.8% electric. We use your work email to send booking confirmations, VAT receipts, and important updates about your account. We do not sell your personal data to advertising companies. We only share your information with our commercial insurance underwriters to verify driver eligibility, and

Keeping Your Data Secure

We store your personal details and driving records on secure servers with active encryption. Access to driver documents is strictly limited to our 5-person operations team on Cook Street. We regularly review our digital security systems to prevent unauthorised access or data leaks. Since our platform relies on digital keys, security is our top priority. We retain your information only as long as your business account remains active with us, or as required by UK transport and tax laws. If you decide to close your workspace, we will delete your driving records and personal files within 30 days, except for financial invoices that we must keep for tax records.

Your Legal Rights

You have full control over your personal information under UK data protection laws. You can request a copy of all the data we hold about you at any time. If you notice any mistakes, you can ask us to correct them. You also have the right to request that we delete your driver profile from our system. If you want to export your trip logs or change your account details, you can do this directly inside the admin portal or by emailing our team. To make any of these requests, please write to us at drive@fanseek.com. We will respond to your inquiry and handle your request within 24 hours during normal business days.
